Here are a few tips.

Insole cleaning

(full grain leather and/or calf leather)

What to do

  1. Gently use a nylon bristle brush or a rubber brush to remove dirt.

What NOT to do

  1. DO NOT machine wash sandals

  2. DO NOT try to dry them by exposing them to direct sources of heat (hairdryer, stoves, radiators, etc.)

  • Insole: part of the sole where the foot is directly placed.
  • Full grain: the design, characteristic of each animal species, formed by the pores of the skin, which remains visible after the removal of the hair.

Calfskin Leather Upper Cleaning

Calfskin upper, what to do?

  1. Use Use a soft cotton cloth to remove any stains on the calfskin and/or goatskin.

  2. You can use a small amount of cleansing milk on a cotton cloth to remove dirt and to also nourish and polish the skin.

    (Note: do not apply cleansing milk directly to the skin surface.)

What NOT to do

  1. DO NOT allow contact with water
  2. DO NOT expose to heat sources
  3. DO NOT use generic detergents
  4. DO NOT use bleach
  5. DO NOT use abrasive sponges

Clean suede uppers

How to care for an upper in suede calfskin?

  1. Gently use a brush with nylon or rubber bristles to remove dirt.

What NOT to do

  1. DO NOT allow contact with water

  2. DO NOT expose to heat sources

  3. DO NOT use generic detergents

  4. DO NOT use bleach

  5. DO NOT use abrasive sponges
